In 2004 two young scientists discovered a new method for the analysis of protein complexes at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) Zürich. Today they work at their own spin-off company for which they could already find investors.
The high speed of CovalX GmbH (www.covalx.com), founded by Alexis Nazabal and Ryan Wenzel, shows not only the business-spirit of the founders but also their good network within the swiss start-up support. CovalX could not only acquire the exclusive rights of the patented method from ETH Zürich, but they are also supported by the Federal Foundation for Promotion of National Economy and the federally owned Promotion Agency for Innovation KTI.
