Professor Renato Zenobi is retiring from ETH Zurich.
Our two founders were postdoctoral researchers in his lab when CovalX took shape. His support in those early years shaped the direction the company would take.
His research helped establish the ion formation mechanism in MALDI mass spectrometry, the technique CovalX builds its High Mass MALDI-MS service on. His work has been recognized with the Thomson Medal in 2014 and the Fresenius Prize in 2015, among other honors.

Congratulations on a remarkable career, Professor Zenobi!
